How We Got Into Exhaust Cleaning
CSH Maintenance Pty Ltd started in 2007 with a simple observation: commercial kitchens across Melbourne were being cleaned everywhere except where it mattered most for fire safety, the exhaust system. Ovens got scrubbed, floors got mopped, but the canopy and duct-work above it all, quietly building up grease with every service, got overlooked.
We decided to specialise in exactly that gap. What began as a small operation servicing Melbourne’s south-east has grown into a team trusted across the whole city and its surrounding suburbs, because once a kitchen owner sees what’s actually built up inside their duct-work, they don’t go back to skipping it.
The People Behind the Ducts
We’re a multicultural team of tradespeople with a combined 27 years in the industry, and every one of us has climbed into a duct, stood on a roof in the rain, or scraped grease off a canopy at 2am after a restaurant’s closed for the night. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s necessary work and we’ve never lost our appreciation for that.
